The Tavern offers a selection of classic cocktails, all prepared with premium spirits and fresh juices, purees and garnishes.  A variety of draught and bottled craft beers, as well as a simple-yet-comprehensive list of wines by the glass and bottle, round out the beverage program and offer a compelling reason to visit in and of themselves, as well as a wealth of ways to complement a meal.

The restaurant’s atmosphere, encourages diners to relax and enjoy, with 32 table seats and 12 more at the bar. Exposed brick and wide, dark pine paneling make the space feel tucked away, and the building’s location on picturesque Camac Street, a cobblestoned alley, lends to the speakeasy-like vibe.  The atmosphere, however, is anything but exclusive; guests are greeted warmly and invited back by the friendly staff.

The subterranean dining room is housed in the historic Tavern on Camac, a long-running piano bar and nightclub, and makes a great first or last stop for revelers that are visiting the establishment’s other spaces.  Originally a speakeasy, the space transitioned into a well-known piano bar in 1937, and today, it is one of the nation’s oldest music venues – making it a natural home for The Tavern’s lived-in vibe and casually cool appeal.

The Tavern is currently closed so that we may update our Kitchen and the Dining Room.

We should return around November.
